Bernardus Spa

The Bernardus spa is a beautiful refuge tucked away in the secluded Carmel Valley. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of Carmel by the Sea, yet close enough to pop over to Carmel when you are ready. If quaint and quiet are what you are looking for, Carmel Valley is the right destination for you.

Once in the spa area, you are surrounded by a luxurious, quiet sitting room complete with fireplace and overstuffed couches. The room is filled with peaceful music, creating an atmosphere to soothe the soul.

Our Spa Experience:

My spa experience began with a relaxing massage by a pleasant and professional masseuse, followed by an exquisite pedicure experience. The pedicure was thorough and included a leg massage and sugar scrub which was very relaxing. The staff was unhurried and I felt like a queen.

After Spa Suggestions:

We recommend visiting nearby Carmel by the Sea, it is a wonderful town to visit and you will want to return again and again.

We also suggest you visit the Bernardus Winery for a wine tasting during your trip to the Bernardus Spa. The Winery is just down the road, and the staff will be happy to direct you. We have returned to the Bernardus Winery on several occasions, as we enjoy several of their wines, especially their 2000 Chardonnay which is delicious and reasonably priced.
